Indoor victory rose hybrid revival

I received Red Victory roses (hybrid) for my birthday. These roses can be placed indoors and outdoors. I spent the weekend with my parents and discovered that I had left the blinds closed and that the blooming roses (and most of the buds) had wilted… Thus, I placed the roses in the sun and watered them. Towards the afternoon, I trimmed away the dead sections of the plant and now it looks very sad. (One bud is left, surrounded by a few leaves and a couple of stalks). I am extremely afraid of killing it – it’s very precious to me… Is there any way to save my plant?

The next time it needs water. Water it with some water that has a bit of root stimulator and a product called Super Thrive mixed into the water together. Use this mix the next 4 to 5 times it needs watering. Don’t feed the bush too much during this time of recovery. Sometimes the marketers actually put more than one rosebush in the same pot so they look great to sell. This causes the rosebushes to become root bound in the pot pretty quickly. So take a look at the base of the bush and see if it looks like more than one rose in the pot. If so, and there is still some good growth left, I would take it out of the pot it is in and separate the bushes planting them in separate good sized pots with drainage holes in them. Use the same water mix I mentioned above to water them in. The Super Thrive is not a fertilizer but more an essential nutrients booster like vitamins somewhat. It goes a long way to helping roses and plants deal with many shock and stress issues. The small dose of root stimulator helps get the root system functioning well which makes the top part do well.
