Fertilize after the blooms have faded.

Patience is generally the cure for Spider plants, when the pot gets nice and root bound, the babies will grow.
Also make sure you rotate the pot so the sunlight is evenly distributed.
A light feeding of fertilizer will help Spider Plants also. Use a balanced fertilizer at half strength.
