Indoor hyacinths falling over

I have been given a second pot of three hyacinths. They are planted very tightly in the pot. The last ones kept falling over. I tried putting them in direct light, and in shade, but it made no difference. Am I overwatering them? What can I do to stop the stems from falling right out over the sides? Thanks.

This frequently happens. The only thing you can really do is stake them up. It just means that the blooms are simply too full, weighing the stems down.

I agree. Bulbs seem to get leggy indoors.
