Why can’t I keep cilantro alive? I bought a growing light since there isn’t any direct light in the south facing window. I have been leaving the light on it for about 4 hours at a time 1-2 times/day. The leaves keep turning yellow. I haven’t been able to keep one alive for more than about 4-5 weeks so far. :/

Your on the right track, but you will need to increase the light a bit more.
Also you will need to provide some extra nutrition for this fast growing herb.
