Q.Indoor Grass

I am currently working in a desert in an office environment, and thought about a crazy idea. I have an about 10′ by 12′ room with glass windows on two sides from floor to ceiling. I was wondering, would it be feasible to put grass down, more or less, as the flooring?

I give classes in that room and it gets a bit hot, so I was thinking about this. So far my idea would be to put down waterproofing plastic and paint with some stone finishing to make it look a bit better and the step up into the room, but I’m not sure whether it would work or not.

It probably would not have enough light, plus there are probably some electrical issues or ordinances that it would not work with.
