Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy indoor ficus tree is 25 years old and has recently been growing green pea-size balls which drop from the tree. This has never happened in all the years I’ve had the tree which was pruned years ago and is healthy. It has always been indoors and is placed near a large window. What are they and why is this happening?

The little round balls are the fruit (figs) of the ficus. Sometimes it takes several years for a ficus to fruit, the one in the forum thread link below took ten years!
