Indoor dieffenbachia

Question

I’m from India. Two weeks back I bought a Dieffenbachia from a nursery. A lower leaf turned yellow so I cut them. Now 3-4 leaves have yellowed. I water them once in 2 days as climate is somewhat hot humid. Please help me out.

Overwatering is a possibility, since it is a very common problem with indoor plants. Make sure the top two inches of soil are dry before you water each time. If this doesn't help, the plant might be getting too much direct light if it is near a bright window. See these articles for more information:
