Q.Increase Ph From Acid To Neutral In Soil

Zone Irvine, CA | Anonymous added on September 7, 2024 | Answered

All my potted container plants are acid, recently got a ph tester for soil, nutrients seem to be on the good side, Not sure what to do, should I add some apple cider vinegar to my watering? Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you

Powdered or pelleted agricultural limestone is usually what is used to neutralize the soil. Vinegar is not effective. If you just have a few potted plants, you could just repot in fresh potting soil.
