Q.In mornings we have burrow holes. What can this be from. We live in Dianella with a well developed garden.

For the past week each morning we have had small holes where something has been digging. We have lots of mole crickets (sandgropers) – could it be from those? We also have occasional Ibis in our neighbourhood. Is it possible that they would do this during the night?

Ibis do poke holes in the yard with their long beaks foraging for insects. They actually aerate the yard as well as remove insects so they are beneficial. Here are other foragers:
