Imidocloprid for use on tomatoes for bud break/fungus/bacterial

I read your article on Tomatoes, leaf hoppers and excuse me? This article advised people to use imidocloprid? This is a systemic pesticide? You are advocating killing leaf hoppers with systemic pesticide on edible crops? Are you crazy? Leaf hoppers are transitory, management practices will be able to control infections, why kill pests that aren’t even around anymore?
