Q.Image Of A Properly Pruned Cherry And Pear Tree
Hi I have read your articles and this site seems very informative. However, as an example, I am trying to trim a dwarf cherry tree and I haven’t a clue on: -how to cut the branch -when you say 4 limbs etc….not sure exactly where these are to be etc. -my tree is probably 3 years old and this is the first year with fruit. I don’t want it to grow much taller ..it is about 16-18′ tall right now but I prefer if the limbs grow outward so I can reach the fruit. Assuming I cut from the top to achieve this. It has many branches. I don’t know what I should cut.k Also I have a pear tree that finally is getting some good fruit on it….this tree is 20 years old and it has never grown! I have no idea why. some years it gets copper leaves and no fruit.
