Black Walnut Trees

Q.I’m wanting to plant a black walnut tree but my yard has alot of trees, primarily oak. I have a palm tree I\’m concerned about.

I cannot find any reference to any palms in regard to juglone toxicity. It would have to be assumed that the palm could potentially be susceptible to juglone poisoning from the black walnut.

Almost all of the oaks can tolerate juglone with no ill effect, so they will be fine.
