Q.I’m trying to figure out what these little green bugs that are on sunflower

Kristina added on August 10, 2012 | Answered

I planted a sunflower in the spring from a seed. It sprouted and grew big and beautiful but now it looks so sad and sick. I noticed little green bugs covered on the back of the leaves. What are they and how do I get rid of them?

The little green bugs are likely aphids, which can be found in various colors. Regardless of the pest, however, you can easily treat most with neem oil. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/homemade-aphid-control-a-natural-way-to-kill-aphids.htm
