I live in Palm Springs and want to plant deciduous fruit trees. Are there particular types that will grow and produce?

It’s hard to tell if local Home Depot or Lowes fruit trees will thrive as I see the same type of fruit trees at other nurseries in Los Angeles which has a totally different climate.

Soil fertility and good water management are the keys for good plant health in that harsh climate. Winter dormant spraying can help with pest and disease control.
