Q.If You Tamarack Larch Tree Cracks In Half In Winter Storm And Top Half Is On Ground, Will The Trunk Resprout Any Growth?

Larch is about 10 inch trunk at break and 25 feet tall at break. Several smaller trees are bent in a U shape but we need snow melt to try to straighten them

Sure! The tree will likely sprout some new growth from near the break point, as long as there is some new growth points still left on the tree. There will be no growth from areas where there are no new growth buds.
