Q.plants look yellow and unhappy
If the plant requires full sun but is watered plenty and still looks yellow, what could be wrong? We built planting boxes 21 inches high, 8 feet long and 6 feet long in a location to provide full sun. Planted beans, squash, multiple seeds. We water consistently in the am before the sun and in the evening when they are not in sun. Every morning we have little grey fuzzy toadstools. The plants look yellow and unhappy. We can’t figure out what is wrong. Not enough water? Too much? Too much sun? Too hot?
They are getting too much water or the planting boxes are not draining well, allowing the soil to remain too wet. Check your drainage and correct if needed. Also, let up on the watering some so the soil can dry out a bit. You want the soil to dry some between waterings to avoid fungal growth or mold issues.
