How, and how often should I fertilize my vegetable garden if I'm watering with a soaker.

Most fertilizer is applied at the time of planting and additional applications are dependent on the types of vegetables grown. Normally, a top dressing of compost will be sufficient once during the growing season and reapplied only as needed.
