If I cut the top of the tree fern off will the fonds re grow, due to the cold weather getting to it the fonds are not growing and
the top is very narrow. I have added a picture. Many thanks Sam

No, due to the nature of these trees, cutting the top will usually result in the death of the tree. It may or may not send out replacement pups.
