If I Cut My Joe Pyeweed In Half, Let’s Say, Will It Continue To Grow And, In Particular, Bloom?

It gets 12 ft. tall but has minimal blooms, and I really don’t want it that tall.

You can cut it back but the blooms may be smaller. There are shorter cultivars available. Here is more:
