Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI just bought 2 containers of Calla Lily and thought I could put them in a window box and still cut them to bring inside for a vase. If I cut them, will they not come back? Will they re-bloom? If so, how would I cut them?

There are dozens of varieties of calla lillies, and most of them will bloom for 2 or 3 months, the flowers lasting a couple of weeks. Of course you can cut the the flowers — cut the stem as close as possible to the soil, at the point where it emerges from the leaves. After the flowers have bloomed, you can save the rhizomes, and plant them again next year for more flowers.
