Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comIf a red dogwood plant is burned, will it recover? I have seen lilacs burned to the ground and come back to life. The red dogwoods are full of cornstalk and corn husks from a strong wind we had. We would like to just burn the debris off.

I would not advise this as a technique to clean the plants.
