Q.Identifying A Plant

Zone Glasgow | PlantyMcPlantFace added on September 3, 2020 | Answered

Hi! I’m trying to help my grandma identify this plant, she doesn’t know what it is and was wanting to find out so she could give it whatever specific tlc it needs. It doesn’t flower(not while she’s had it at least) and grows big pointed leaves on long, straight, thick stems. I’ve not been able to identify by googling as the description of it is quite generic. If someone could tell me what this plant is, it’d be much appreciated. Kind regards, J

At first glance, it resembles a Monstera. Upon closer inspection of leaf shape, it appears more like a tree Philodenron. Fortunately, their care is very similar, so whether it is one or the other doesn't quite matter in this case.
