Q.Identify Bush

Anonymous added on April 12, 2012 | Answered

Found a bush in the woods. It is much like a holly. It is very spiky, has small leaves shaped just like holly, which are also sticky like. However, it is loaded with small bright orange clusters of flowers right now. The bush is spindly and the bark is dark in color. It’s about three feet high. I brought a small plant home that had grown off the main plant. Can you help me? I have looked at several holly plants but to no avail.
