What type of cactus is this? Can part of it be transplanted? How?

    Many cacti look so much alike, that it can be nearly impossible to tell them apart. My best guess would be a species of trichocereus. I could suggest taking a sample, or a picture to your local extension service, and they will be able to help you further.
