Q.Transplant My Sago Palms

I want to transplant my sago palms due to the fact they poisoned my dog. I need to know how big the roots are on a 4′ wide plant?

The general rule of thumb is that the roots will extend out 1-2' beyond the tips of the fronds. Sorry to hear about your dog. :(
