Q.picking blossoms off pumpkin vines

I want to pick the blossoms off pumpkin vines to eat. Will that affect the plants production of fruit?

Pumpkin blossoms produce male and female blooms just like squash. If you want to pick the flowers to eat without affecting fruit production, I would suggest using the male blossoms, as the females are the ones that produce fruit.
