Fertilizer in Flower and Shrub Beds

I want to add some fertilizer to my flower and shrub borders. I have plenty of concentrated chicken manure handy. Should I just apply this on its own or should I add some Growmore to it?

Chicken manure makes a great fertilizer for many plants. That said, it is better to compost it beforehand as the high nitrogen it contains can burn roots and damage plants. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/composting/manures/chicken-manure-fertilizer.htm [1]
