Q.decaffeinated tea bags and coffee in compost
I use decaffeinated tea bags and coffee, can these be used in our composting? We are new to composting. I just read an article stating that coffee and tea after brewing can be used around plants or used in composting, thus my question about decaffeinated leavings. I have been told that products used to remove caffeine can be harmful, but for me I know that caffeine is out to kill me, so I am certainly better off without it. Thank you.
In my research I did not find any reason why you would not be able to compost decaffeinated coffee or tea.
