Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI treated my Ficus Benjamina with a fungicide to treat vine weevil infestation and about 4 months later large toadstools are appearing attached to the base of the trunk. The treatment of a fungicide and the infestation have nothing to do with toadstools growing around the plant.
The fungus or mushrooms will not harm the plant but may be difficult to eliminate.
