Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comSago palm? I was given the plant about 5 years ago. It has very slowly grown a couple of fronds. Over the past fortnight, it has grown a “spike” with little offshoots. This has grown about 1 inch a day. It looks like these might produce tiny flowers and then seeds. I have been unable to find a picture or information about this “spike”. Any ideas of what is happening?

It is a Sago, but that is not the flower. That is a new frond unfurling, and it is signalling that it does not have quite enough light! Even when it does flower, it will not produce seeds. Male and female flowers reside on separate plants, so you would need both for that to happen.
