Q.I planted an Itoh peony in a container last fall. This spring it came up and pretty quickly grew to 6\

e same size ever since. Should I be worried? Move container to a sunnier spot? (We get hot here in NC and my other peonies have s uffered from too much sun so I put this one in a part-sun location. I have another peony in a sunny part of the garden…in three years I get a lush bush of leaves and no flowers…one year I had a couple of buds, but the heat fried them. That’s why I put this Itoh peony in a shadier spot.

What do you fertilize this with, and how often? This could be that there is too much nitrogen, or not enough potassium and phosphorus. Both can show the same symptoms.
