I Planted Acorn Squash From 1 Golden Squash I Took Seeds From

i have 1 green acorn, 15 white ones and 1 giant orange squash all from the same squash last season how could i end up with 3 differant colors ? plus i planted them june 9th 2021 and the stems are still healthy do i pick them or wait

Since you grew the plants from seeds, if it was a hybrid cultivar, you may be seeing some of the different parentage coming through.
