Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI followed the advice given by nursery and online. It seemed to go into autumn leafshedding as would be expected. To date absolutely no sign of green shoot.

April is not too late for tree leaves to emerge. You can scrape off some of the stem and it should be green inside. Also, stems should be pliable, not brittle. If it hasn't shown signs of life by May, you may want to call the nursery. It probably has a guarantee for a certain length of time.
