Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI got a little carried away while thinning my peach tree and took off almost all of the baby fruit. I guess I thought if I removed more now it would cause new buds to flourish. Is there any chance more peaches will grow in this season or is the harvest ruined completely?

Maybe things aren’t so dire – is there one fruit every 6-8 inches? If so, you thinned it correctly and will be just fine. A peach tree goes through distinct sequential stages every season (http://www.pearsonfarm.com/blog/the-yearly-growth-stages-of-a-peach-tree/ [1]). I think by this point that the bulk of the fruit the tree was to produce would have formed.
