rose seeds stratification process?

I bought 5 types of really exotic rose seeds through ebay, but I just got my first batch today and there are no directions or anything with it. Is there any way I can tell if they are ready to grow or if I have to go through the whole stratification process first?

Most of the time the seeds will need to go through at least a 30 day cold moist storage/stratification process, it really depends on the people you got them from. They may well have kept them in cool to cold storage already. You just really have no way of knowing for certain. There is a Contact Seller feature at ebay and I recommend trying to contact them to see about their storage process. Once you hear from them you will be set to go or should I say grow! 🙂 If they do not get back with you, I would try proceeding with some of the seeds and see how things go.
