Q.I Need Info on Growing Bird of Paradise in Arizona
Everything I’ve read says that the birds need some direct sun, but everyone here is telling me to plant where there is no direct sun, can you help me?

It is true that this plant likes sun, but in your area direct sun may be too much for it, especially once the heat of summer comes. This is the reason why planting it in a partially sunny area would be better--to avoid heat stress. Also, when planting this spring, make sure to water it thoroughly so the roots have plenty of time to establish before the summer heat.
