Q.I Need Help With My Money Tree!
Originally had three stalks braided, had a cat that used pot for litterbox and killed two, one remaining stalk. Stalk appears kind of dead on one side maybe, you can see the green/brown split in the photos. New cat terrorized it by chewing leaves and the stalk. Removed plant from cat access but it looks a bit pitiful. Wondering if it would be safe to prune stalk down below the part that looks dead, or if there’s something else I can do to help my tree. I don’t want to give up on it and start over with a new tree but I’m worried. I did realize I was over watering and stopped. Used some kind of plain organic mulch and mostly miracle grow potting soil (some cheaper off brand got mixed with it) when I repotted this year, used a lot with drain tray.

Your plant will naturally callous over the wounds on the stem. Try staking the stem to prevent its leaning.
