Is there any kind of plants that don’t need much maintenance and repel wasps and bees

I have read that bees do not like the bitterness of cucumbers and the scent of basil and mint; others include geranium flowers, marigolds, citronella and eucalyptus. However, I have not tested that. Also, hydrangea blooms with lots of fertile flowers -like lacecap form blooms- should be avoided. Hydrangeas with mophead form blooms (of some macrophyllas, serratas and a small number of arborescens), which have very few fertile flowers, could be considered.
