If you plant now, it will only have a few months of growing until it dies. These are not cold hardy, if you are referring to Brugmansia. This is the most common Angel’s trumpet. There are other plants called this so I will need to know exactly which you intend to plant.

Brugmansia is a tropical, and will not likely survive in this zone over winter, unless it is very mature. A young tree will have almost no chance here.
