Q.I live in SW Florida.What’s the best way to grow tomatoes?

I’m trying to grow a couple of tomato plants in my yard. They get alot of hot sun all day and right now is our rainy season. One plants leaves on the bottom are turning yellow. What causes this and what do I need to do to have everything grow?
