I Live in Northampton and Have Daffodils in Full Flower

Some of my daffodils are in full flower and it’s June. I’ve never had this happen before. Any idea why? I’m in Northampton. Thanks.

It has been a cool spring, wet for many parts of the country. If this was the case where you live, the combination of cool temps and decreased sunlight (due to overcast days) may have “tricked” the daffodils into blooming later than usual.
