Q.planting hibiscus outdoors
Will a hibiscus grow in Lakewood, Colorado outdoors? I live in Lakewood, Colorado and just purchased a hibiscus. Is it alright to plant it outdoors in full sun?

The question I have for you is, what kind of hibiscus? I'm assuming you're referring to the "hardy" hibiscus, which is winter hardy to -20 F. You can plant it outside, although it's probably late in the year, it needs time to establish. You can overwinter it in a pot indoors, and plant it outside when frost danger is past next spring. Of course, if you're have a tropical hibiscus, that would be a potted plant in your area, although it can go outside for the summer. Here's more information on growing them in pots: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/hibiscus-container-care.htm
