Hibiscus in Colorado

I live in Colorado and just bought a hibiscus. If I plant it outside, will it die in the winter?

Yes, it's a tropical plant. They do, however, make a great indoor plant and easily make the transition from indoors to out so you might want to try growing yours in a pot. If they grow too large, they're easily pruned.
