Strawberry runners grew out

Question

I let the Strawberry runners grow out and take root last year. Do I clip them now? I didn’t have a lot of time last year and ended up letting the runners on my strawberries grow out. I am finding now that I should not have. Should I uproot them now? Or can I leave them alone?

You can go ahead and prune then now if they are not rooted to deeply.
