Insect Pest Control

fuzzy yellow caterpillar

Zone I live in Detroit Michigan area | Ladylark added on August 11, 2015 | Answered

I just found a fuzzy yellow caterpillar in my garden about 1 and a half inches long. What is it? It was crawling up my brick house wall towards a vinyl window that needs some new caulking. (Right from my flower garden.)

If so, it is a Spotted Apatelodes moth caterpillar (Apatelodes torrefacta)
