Amaryllis Plants

Q.I Have Two Beautiful Amaryllis Which Were Planted In Mid November.

They have several large green leaves, Only they have not flowered at all. What am I doing wrong. It’s almost two months and they should have budded by now. Thank you.

If I understand correctly, these were bulbs that bloomed last year and you summered them outside, brought them inside in November and planted in container with the bulb 1/3 above the soil line. The reason it isn't going to bloom is because it missed its dormant period. Here are instructions. Go ahead and follow these instructions, they should bloom after they get a rest. If perchance these were new bulbs, they should have already had their rest period and be ready to bloom. The fault would be with the vendor.
