Q.I Have Tomatoes Growing On My Potatoes Branches

I have raised bed and grow potatoes spring onion and lettuce this year however I found two tomatoes growing on the branch of a potatoe is this common.

This is the fruit of the potato plant, but they aren't tomatoes. Being a relative, potatoes make a similar looking fruit. They are toxic, just like the leaves. You can use the seeds for a different generation of potatoes that are not clones, but they may be totally different than the parent plant.
