Q.I Have This Troublesome Weed That I Want To Identify And Get Rid Of.
This weed behaves like a creeper and intertwines itself with shrubs growing nearby. It grows quickly. It has totally infested several square yards of an area where there are a number of shrubs but no grass. I’ve uploaded a photo. I did a search on the internet which suggested Dichondra Micrantha or Geophila. Considering the descriptions of those two, it looks more like Geophila to me. Is it possible to get rid of it and how should one do that?

Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. I am unable to see the plant in question. It does sound like you do have a good grasp on what it is. Getting rid of it will take a few steps. You'll want to manually remove what you can, first. Triclopyr is a good one for this purpose. Just don't till the area until it is gone. It will spread by being disturbed. Mulch the area if you can. It will help smother it out. It is going to take a few treatments at the least.
