How Long Should I Keep Heating Mats On

I have started several trays of seeds. I would like to know how long to leave the heating mats on under all my seed trays. I’ve started mostly vegetables and some herbs. I don’t want to fry their little roots off.

Normally, you can remove the heat once your seeds have sprouted. Additionally, you can opt for placing the seed trays on your refrigerator, which provides heat as well. For more info on starting seeds, this article will help (would apply to many herbs too): https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/vgen/growing-vegetables-with-seeds.htm [1]
