Q.I Have Something Griwing At The Bottom Of My Standard Rose

This is the 2nd year of me having this standard rose, it has always been in this pot along with cyclamen and snow drops

It looks like there has been some type of wound there and it is forming a callus and possibly adventitious roots. It may be stressed by the competition for water and nutrients with the other plants. It doesn't really look like galls or cankers. Here is more:
